Don’t underestimate the importance of having fun participating in school activities. Some of the best times and memories students have are the experiences of belonging to a club or participating in an after school activity.
Clubs and activities are important to join just for the enjoyment that they will bring to most students, but they also allow the students to more easily make friends because the groups are small and they get to be themselves!
Clubs and activities provide students with many positive experiences that help them to become well-rounded individuals who are ready for college or the workplace. It helps students to become active in their school and to feel a connection the school and to others. It provides a sense of pride and school spirit and it is a positive influence on our youth today.

PUPS is a service club with the goal of promoting therapy dogs in our community. The TDHS Therapy Dog, Rosie, attends all meetings. We have a lot of fun completing dog themed activities. Students who are interested in teaching their dog to become a therapy dog will have the opportunity to do this through a fully funded class at PetSmart outside of club hours
We are a student led organization that gives students the opportunity to participate in school governance and represent their peers.
Scholastic Bowl is an academic competition where two teams with buzzers answer questions based on their school subjects, as well as questions about pop culture and sports.
The Creative Writing Club gives students an opportunity to pursue their writing interests with like-minded peers outside of the classroom.
The Squire Magazine publishes student writing, artwork, and performance videos both digitally and in a printed magazine that is published in May.
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is an honor society for students who excel in theatre arts. It recognizes and rewards students’ achievements in various aspects of theatre, including performance and production. Membership is earned through participation and points accumulated in theatre activities, both within and outside of school.
Student Book Club is a group for students who want to celebrate books and share their love of reading. Students participate in book discussions, book related games/activities, and promote reading in the school and community.
The Senior Class Council represents and advocates for the interests of the senior class, organizing events, and fostering school spirit. They also collaborate with school administration to ensure a memorable and cohesive final year for students.
Project 7 is a club where students work on serving others, building relationships, and learning about Jesus. The club desires to help students see how God relates to their everyday lives. This is a student led club.
The NHS program empowers and equips your students with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in your school, community, and beyond. In addition, it provides a necessary bridge between students and school leaders—helping you to engage and hear what students think, feel, and need.
