PUPS is a service club with the goal of promoting therapy dogs in our community. The TDHS Therapy Dog, Rosie, attends all meetings. We have a lot of fun completing dog themed activities. Students who are interested in teaching their dog to become a therapy dog will have the opportunity to do this through a fully funded class at PetSmart outside of club hours
PUPS Club meets the first and third Wednesdays of every month at the West Library from 3-4 p.m. Regular attendance is expected. Sometimes depending on our projects for a particular day we may extend our meeting time past 4 p.m. Students who are interested in completing the therapy dog training with their personal dogs will be required to attend class at PetSmart and practice the skills learned at home with their dog.
An interest meeting will be announced early in the school year. Interested students may attend and sign up at that time. Additionally there will be a table with information at the Club Fairs.
