Don’t underestimate the importance of having fun participating in school activities. Some of the best times and memories students have are the experiences of belonging to a club or participating in an after school activity. Clubs and activities are important to join just for the enjoyment that they will bring to most students, but they also allow the students to more easily make friends because the groups are small and they get to be themselves!
Clubs and activities provide students with many positive experiences that help them to become well-rounded individuals who are ready for college or the workplace. It helps students to become active in their school and to feel a connection the school and to others. It provides a sense of pride and school spirit and it is a positive influence on our youth today.
Through our partnership with BBGB Books, we provide students with engaging author visits that foster a deeper connection to literature. These special events inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading.
Our 5th grade students can join the fun in Battle of the Books by reading at least 10 of the 20 recommended BOB titles. Students who make the team will put their knowledge to the test in a spirited end-of-year competition to see who knows the books best!
Our Book Buddies program pairs lower-grade students with upper-grade classes to build community and share the joy of reading together. These partnerships create meaningful connections across grade levels and foster a love for books.
Our Book Fair is a favorite event each year! Students and families can browse a wide selection of books, discover new stories, and build their home libraries. It’s a fun way to celebrate reading and support our school community.
Career Day is an exciting opportunity for students to explore the world of work! Guests from a variety of professions visit our school to share their experiences, answer questions, and inspire students to dream big about their futures.
Field Day is a fun-filled celebration where students enjoy games, activities, and friendly competition. It’s a day to be active, have fun with friends, and make lasting memories!
Our HERD Volunteers program welcomes parents to spend a half or full day at school, helping support teachers and staff. It’s a wonderful way to get involved, connect with our school community, and make a difference in students’ learning experiences.
Come celebrate global cultures at International Night! With over 30 countries represented, you can try new foods, learn traditional dances, and explore the rich diversity of our school community.
Little Feet Meet is a special time for our youngest learners to connect, play, and explore together. This program helps children build social skills, make friends, and enjoy fun activities in a welcoming environment.
Our amazing PTA organizes a variety of events throughout the year! From Fall Fest and Family Night to International Night and afternoon enrichment programs, there’s always something fun for students and families to enjoy.
Our Safety Patrol gives 5th graders the chance to help keep our school safe and orderly. Students learn responsibility, leadership, and teamwork while making a positive impact on our school community.
Our Spring Art Show celebrates the creativity of students from all grades! Held at the Clover Hill Library, it’s a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their artwork and share their talents with the community.
Step into leadership as a Student Ambassador! Selected 4th graders lead by example, supporting school initiatives, giving tours to new students, and helping with Kindergarten registration, all while making a difference in our community.
Our Weekly Gallop gives 5th graders the chance to take the lead on Moseley’s weekly news program. Students share stories, highlight school events, and help keep our community informed!
