The Lancer Marching Band is the most visible part of the Lancer Band programs. The LMB will perform at each Varsity home football games, select JV football games, and select away Varsity football games. In addition, the Lancer Marching Band will participate in several marching band competitions throughout the season and end the season with a VBODA Marching Band Assessment.
The Lancer Marching Band season meets from late July to early November. While this seems like a long time, it goes by incredibly fast. The LMB rehearses Tuesday and Thursday from 3-6 p.m. and will occasionally rehearse on Wednesday’s from 3-5 p.m. Students are expected to participate in each event where the Lancer Marching Band will be performing. A detailed schedule is presented at the beginning of the season.
