Battle of the Books

Open to 4th and 5th grade students who read the books on the annual list. The competition team is comprised of 5th grade students who compete against students from other local schools. This program runs from winter to early spring.

Girls on the Run

GOTR is a character building program for girls in grades 3-5, run through Girls on the Run Greater Richmond. Coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development. At the end of the season, participants complete a service project as well as participate in a 5K. This program runs from February to May.

Safety Patrol

A program for 5th graders to exhibit leadership skills through service in the building.

SCA (Student Council Association)

A service opportunity for students in grades 3-5. Class representatives are chosen by their classmates. Students complete service projects and assist with various activities around the school.

Gator Mart

A school store for students to trade in their school PRIDE slips for items such as pencils, erasers, keychains, notepads, and other small items. Students have the opportunity to attend once monthly.

Student Reporters

Students in 5th grade can submit an application to be a reporter on our daily morning announcements. These students read the daily news on camera and learn basic video editing techniques through WeVideo.
