Clubs and activities give students opportunities to explore their interests, try something new and connect with others. Browse the options below to learn more about the activities available at our school.
The Swingers are a jump rope performance team that conducts exhibitions for charities, service groups, festivals, sporting events and schools. The Swingers are members of the United States Amateur Jump Rope Federation and the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States, Inc. The team competes in state, regional and national competitions. Performances consist of choreographed single rope, double dutch, Chinese wheel, and synchronized group routines.
Boys and girls of all ages are welcome to participate.

Overview: The Moms of Marvelous Students (M.O.M.S.) Volunteer Program at A.M. Davis is aimed at fostering a supportive and engaging school environment with the help of moms and motherly figures.
Mission: The mission of the M.O.M.S. Program is to enhance the educational experience of all students by encouraging parent participation, supporting teachers, and enriching students’ academic and social experiences. A.M. Davis M.O.M.S. help to provide extra support around school for the day.
How to Get Involved
Complete Volunteer Form: Any interested participants must complete the Chesterfield County Public Schools Volunteer Application prior to helping out for your assigned day.
Information Night: Make sure to join us for our M.O.M.S. Info Night where you can sign up and choose specific volunteer days. Be on the lookout for more event details!

Overview: The Watch D.O.G.S. program is a nationwide initiative designed to engage fathers and father figures in supporting their student’s education. This program brings male role models into elementary schools to promote a positive school environment, enhance student learning, and increase family engagement.
Mission: The mission of A.M. Davis Watch D.O.G.S. is to provide positive male role models for the students that encourage a safe school environment! The D.O.G.S. aim to provide extra support around school for the day.
How to Get Involved
This club offers a fun and engaging opportunity for students to learn the art of crochet. Meeting once a week from October to December, participants will not only pick up a valuable new skill but also enhance several key developmental areas.

The Davis Dragon Step Team empowers students through rhythm, movement, and teamwork while building confidence and school pride. Members develop leadership, perseverance, communication, and collaboration skills through energetic performances at school events. Step Team encourages creativity, respect, commitment, and the belief that every step leads to success in and beyond the classroom.
The Davis Dragon 4th–5th Grade Student House Leaders Club develops confident, responsible student leaders through service, teamwork, and school involvement. Members promote school spirit, model positive behavior, welcome new students, and support school events. The club inspires leadership, kindness, communication, and the belief that great leaders serve others by example.
The Davis Dragon Run Club promotes fitness, fun, and healthy habits through running, walking, and teamwork. Students improve physical health, confidence, focus, and coordination while enjoying an active, supportive environment. The club encourages every child to participate at their own pace and develop a lifelong love of fitness and wellness.
