EXPLORE
Don’t underestimate the importance of having fun participating in school activities. Some of the best times and memories students have are the experiences of belonging to a club or participating in an after school activity. Clubs and activities are important to join just for the enjoyment that they will bring to most students, but they also allow the students to more easily make friends because the groups are small and they get to be themselves!
Clubs and activities provide students with many positive experiences that help them to become well-rounded individuals who are ready for college or the workplace. It helps students to become active in their school and to feel a connection the school and to others. It provides a sense of pride and school spirit and it is a positive influence on our youth today.
Beulah Players is an audition-based drama club for students in grades 3–5 that brings literacy and the performing arts together. Throughout the year, students strengthen reading comprehension, fluency, oral communication, collaboration, and performance skills as they study and interpret a theatrical work and prepare for a culminating spring production.
Participation requires a significant commitment, with students rehearsing approximately two hours after school, twice each week, from the fall through the culminating production in late April/early May. Through this extended experience, students build confidence, creativity, perseverance, and a deeper understanding of text while discovering the joy of bringing a story to life on stage.

Kindness Club brings together students in grades 3–5 who have a heart for helping others and want to make a positive difference at Beulah and beyond. Meeting weekly during the school year, members participate in service projects and kindness activities, support school and community events such as our Food Drive, Multicultural Night, and Black History Month Celebration, and may serve as student ambassadors to help welcome new students to the Beulah family. Through service and leadership, students learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
LEGO Masters Club is a hands-on STEM experience where students put their creativity, problem-solving, and engineering skills to work! During each six-week session, students meet after school once a week to design and construct LEGO creations while exploring robotics and coding to bring their builds to life through movement and interactive challenges. Along the way, students strengthen collaboration, critical thinking, perseverance, and innovation while learning, creating, and having fun!

There are many different activities that the S.W.I.M. team participates in during the school year. A few of these activities include; taking a field trip to a university, participating in several leadership opportunities to support Beulah, creating individual goals, and developing a SEL morning meeting group to help younger classrooms with their social/emotional development.
