Our goal is to provide student athletes the opportunity to try different events and learn the best fit for them as well as the team. Student athletes will learn how to exchange a baton correctly, use starting blocks, long\/triple\/high jump, throw a shot or discus, and how to become better runners.","team_highlights":"The TCMS Girls Track and Field team has won six Northern Division Championships, as well as six County Championships. There have also been various individual County Champions over the years.","pre-season":"n\/a","season_information":"Regular season track meets will begin in March, with playoffs starting after the culmination of the season. Regular track meets will begin at 2:30 p.m. (Playoff start times will vary).","tryout_information":"In order to participate in tryouts, student-athletes must have the most recently revised VHSL physical form (April 2025) and concussion form completed and on file with TCMS.\u00a0 The physical form must articulate that the student athlete is medically cleared to participate. The physical and concussion forms can be found on the TCMS website. Tryouts will begin the second week of February.
