I am thrilled to serve as the Principal of Reams Road Elementary and to be a proud member of the Ram team. For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of working in Chesterfield County Public Schools. My journey in education began in the classroom, where I taught at both Falling Creek and Woolridge Elementary Schools. I later served as Assistant Principal at Spring Run and Jacobs Road Elementary Schools, and most recently, as the Associate Principal here at Reams.<\/p>

I hold a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from Wilkes University and a Master\u2019s degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education.<\/p>

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, Jen, also a Chesterfield educator, and our twin sixteen-year-old boys. As a family, we love being outdoors, camping, playing sports, and traveling. When I\u2019m not with my family, you\u2019ll likely find me coaching, golfing, hunting, or out on the water fishing.<\/p>

I am deeply passionate about elementary education and strive to live by the motto: \u201cWork hard\u2026 Play hard.\u201d I\u2019m honored to be part of a school community that shares a strong commitment to doing what\u2019s best for students. My leadership is grounded in integrity, collaboration, and a focus on helping every child reach their full potential.<\/p>

It is such an honor to continue serving as your Associate Principal here at Reams Road Elementary! I am incredibly passionate about education and feel truly blessed to be entering my 33rd year in a career I absolutely love.<\/p>

My journey in education began in San Antonio, Texas, and eventually brought me to Chesterfield County. Before coming to Reams, I was the Assistant Principal at Robious Elementary and spent many wonderful years at J.G. Hening Elementary as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and administrator.<\/p>

Because my father and brother were career Army veterans, I spent my childhood moving all over\u2014from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas to Germany! I earned my Elementary Education degree from Missouri State University and my Master\u2019s in Educational Leadership from VCU. When I\u2019m not at school, you can usually find me spending time with my family at the beach, out on a hiking trail, or enjoying live music.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
