Students work together in a supportive environment to explore acting and improvisation, developing self-confidence and self-expression. We’ll do warm-up activities, create original scenes that we perform that day (Instant Theatre!), and play drama games.
Drama Club runs September through January. There will be an interest meeting in September which will run until 4:30 p.m. to accommodate numbers. After this initial meeting, students attend Drama Club after school on Thursdays once a month, and we will end at 4 p.m. To manage numbers, two meetings are offered and students sign up in Canvas to attend ONE meeting.
Our last meeting will be in January, as the school play will start in February, and it is not possible to run both at once.

The play is open to any student to audition. Students in Drama Club may audition, but it is not required. The best way for students to get information about Drama Club is to listen to the morning announcements.
