No prior experience is required to play lacrosse.\r\n\r\n","team_highlights":"Monacan lacrosse completed its tenth season in 2025 in the highly competitive Dominion District and Region 4B. Hundreds of student athletes have come through and thrived in our program with some moving on to play at the collegiate level through club or NCAA. Collegiate alumni include Victoria Tyler (2018 - Ferrum College \u201824), Moriah Glidden (2021 - Christopher Newport University Club Lacrosse \u201825), Gracie Farrell (2023 - Wentworth Institute of Technology \u201827), Reilly Dinelli (2025 - Lynchburg University \u201829), and Sydney Eldredge (2025 - Randolph Macon College \u201829)","pre-season":"Out of season conditioning will begin in mid-November. Conditioning sessions are not mandatory, but essential if you are learning the sport for the first time and\/or need to maintain fitness before the season begins. An interest meeting will be held in October outlining winter conditioning details. Conditioning dates typically run Tuesdays through Thursdays after school until 4:45","season_information":"The season begins Feb. 23, 2026. It is also important that this paperwork be completed before players can start out of season conditioning. Players need to bring the following equipment to tryouts: stick, goggles, mouthguard, athletic shoes (sneakers and\/or cleats), and a water bottle.
