I am very excited to begin another year as principal at Crestwood! Crestwood has been my home for the past 10 years and I am proud of the culture and community we have at our school.<\/p>

My educational journey includes obtaining my bachelor\u2019s degree in elementary education from Elmira College, master\u2019s degree in literacy from the University of Buffalo, and a post-master\u2019s certificate in administration and supervision from UVA. Before joining the Monarch family, I was a Title I Reading Teacher in Richmond City and a Kindergarten teacher in NY.<\/p>

I am also a wife, mother to three boys, and dog mama. Most weekends you can find me cheering my boys on at any given field, court, or pool. I love visiting the beach, reading and cheering for the Buffalo Bills!<\/p>

I am thrilled to serve as the Assistant Principal at Crestwood, where I cherish being part of our vibrant school culture and community. My educational journey began with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Virginia State University, followed by a Master’s in administration and supervision from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining the Monarch family, I gained valuable experience as a Dean and teacher in the county for several years.<\/p>

Outside of my professional life, I am a proud parent to two wonderful teenage boys who keep me actively engaged. I have a passion for Mickey Mouse and enjoy traveling, as well as spending quality time with friends and family in New York. These personal interests help me maintain a balanced life amidst my responsibilities at school.<\/p>

My mission as an educator is to inspire a love for learning in students while ensuring that they feel safe, supported, and valued in our school environment.
